Who's making music on #Linux? Is it realistic to replace a #MacBook with a Linux machine in a recording studio? Does it play nice with external devices? @WarnerCrocker Yes. I don't have any Apple "services" to cancel, but will be considering a #Linux machine for my next workstation. I've had some experience with it, I'm aware that it's not as user friendly but I've never found a task that couldn't be accomplished with it.

@glynmoody I voted for #HarrisWalz and strongly encourage others to do the same. But Democratic leadership has been utterly antagonistic towards Rashida’s community. They’ve compounded trauma on top of trauma. Their behavior has been morally indefensible and strategically stupid. I still hope that enough of #Michigan’s Muslim community vote for Harris that she can win the state. But I can’t fault them if they choose otherwise,

@unclesam @sshann As AOC points out, Biden's poll numbers hardly budged after the debate. Most polls showed him behind but still well within striking distance. Some pollsters like 538 were still forecasting a Biden win.

Yesterday the 538 forecast predicted a Trump win. I hope that changes. I believe it can.

It will be easy enough to move the content online, but IMHO Buddhadharma was one of the last publications that took print seriously. Thoughtfully designed, compelling artwork, top-quality ink and paper stock, advertisements were quarantined in a separate section. Damn good writing, too. I wrote a paper about #CampaignFinanceReform back in high school in the 1980s. IMHO Progressives dropped the ball on this issue and corporate money is now dominant in every election, from president of the USA to your local city council. I'd probably support non-partisan elections for #Ypsilanti as well. In communities that are effectively single-party, winners are usually decided during primaries, which have relatively low voter turnout. A non-partisan election should effectively move the decision to the general election, with much higher voter turnout.
