@notclacke You just summed up the problem with the MCU and other franchises.
Nobody wants to rewatch a dozen previously released movies and series to enjoy that one new movie.

@aral Some GNOME developers are already getting death threats. Please don't pour oil on the fire.
@aral Reminds me of that time an MacBook owner wanted to pull from git but only could pull half because the directories had the same filename, once starting with a capital and once without. Had to pull from Linux and remove the double names and push everything again to clean that mess up. 🤷
@clacke Guess it's a love it or hate it film. The reviews are divided.
@bragefuglseth @aral It's the executable name.
I have these memorised:
Files = nautilus
Web = epiphany
Document viewer = evince
Image viewer = eog / loupe
Video = totem
Console = kgx
Disk Usage = baobab
Notes = bijiben
Passwords = seahorse
Archive Manager = file-roller
Did I forget a few?
@clacke Are you writing this before or after you've seen the episode Immortimas Patrol? 😯
@clacke At least your Swedish is not getting worse.
@clacke They have their own F-Droid repo still in alpha under https://www.cromite.org/fdroid/repo but it doesn't have the latest build.
@ZachWeinersmith As I understand it, when all those satellite states became independent in the 90's the USSR lost half of it's population and a bunch of land resulting in a lesser empire. Russia is pissed this happened and wants it all back.
@aral Must be a Silverblue bug. I cannot reproduce it on Debian, using the same Nautilus version.
@clacke Why? Market, phones aren't phones any more. We still call them phones because you can use them to make phone calls but the reality is they are pocket computers. Making phone calls is not their primary use any more, it's games, social media, maps, etc. You need a big screen for that.
Remember Steve Jobs saying 3.5 inches is the perfect size for a phone? He refused to make the screen bigger while Samsung successfully released phablets. Well, he died and look where we are now.
@clacke My current phone is 6.7 inches and I wouldn't want a smaller one.
@Gargron Have you used any app made by Meta? They all suffer the same problems, ads everywhere and a convoluted interface.
People use them because people use them, no other reason.
@Gargron Ask Apple.
