One great thing about the Fediverse compared to Twitter is that on Twitter, I never knew if my posts got ignored because of the algorithm or because my content sucked.

At least here I know it's the content.

@nova Ideal in that is was convenient for you, the content-producer, which is ideal indeed.

Hanging out in #hachydermia on Mastodon feels a lot like Twitter in the early days (I joined in 2007) -- almost entirely tech, lots of cool discussions (and folks like @davew and @dangillmor !).
People may not like it because it's very different than Twitter circa 2022...but it's not so different than Twitter circa 2009.
