    single action revolvers were the standard and the winchester lever action was cutting edge technology.
    even the brass cartridge was only a few decades old at that point.
    it was a time of innovation where everyone was throwing shit at the wall, seeing what sticks.

    it took another 40 years until the first mechanisms came out that worked properly.
    here a few examples of a better revolver from the 1880's, all of which sucked and are little more then experiments.

    ive read accounts of the siege of vienna where the turks tried to undermine austrian defences and detonate mines to blow up the city walls.
    at least one of those tunnels was found with a mine inside that was only minutes away from being lit when the polish army overran the turks.

    @MeBigbrain it gets cooked with 2 cheap chemicals, one of which being drain cleaner.
    then it gets compressed and baked with a heated hydraulic press.
    designing a industrial process for this will be very easy.
    and if they ever figure out how to make the wood less brittle, then things will get real fun.
    as it is, it will already be useful as a new material.
    given that this is a chinese invention, i have a feeling that a lot of things made with steel will soon be using this stuff instead.
    would be funny if 15 years from now, this material will be the go stuff cheap shit is made from.

    a bunsh of chinese figured out how to make wood with the properties of steel.
    very hard and brittle steel, but its sill impressive.
    then the canadien youtube chemist proved that its capable of stopping live ammo.
    im thinking this will be more worthwhile as a construction material then armor, but still, its just fucking wood.

    remember the saying that fusion is always 6 months away until it is needed?
    with the east using fuel as there greatest weapon against the anti christ, it seems that time has arrived.
    fuckers even figured out the biggest concern for the boomers and business kikes, how to sell it.
    one reactor that supposedly easily breaks and needs to be constantly repaired to keep the process expensive.
    which alchemically create fuel atoms, and another reactor of the same type that uses said fuel to generate electricity.
    looking at the design, it could even be repurposed as a engine that generates forward momentum, or weaponize it.
    i wonder if more things like these will magically show up over the next few years.
