@GenXLife @atomicpoet @Gargron @fediversenews We were in this for the long haul, the shutdown wasn't based on anything more than an email that went unanswered.

Lack of assistance from @Gargron has made the decision easy for us to shutdown mastodon.au in 7 days. Unfortunately when you can’t get any response after a week it’s clear there is no future for individual instances to operate. The requests was by email and direct messages on mastodon, but no reply.

Apologies to everyone who uses mastodon.au.
