Oppression is just as much a mind game as anything else. The oppressor is counting on taking away our joy, our solidarity with one another, our will to live and fight another day.

Allowing yourself to experience joy, and share that joy with your community? That’s an act of resistance, and it’s crucial to ensuring we all collectively show up again tomorrow.

Given that today is #Thanksgiving in the US, I want to take some time to thank some of the people I appreciate here on the fediverse.

Has anyone come up with a strategy for load testing a Mastodon instance? I’d love to run some tests around how much traffic my setup can handle *before* it breaks organically.
