Dunno about that. My in-laws are Mexican immigrants (making my partner Mexican-American - even if he is a soulless ginger) and both of those sauces are frequently found around everyone's houses - including ours.

Personally, I'm a Tobasco and Crystal fan.

#Today I cleaned out all the nasty containers at the bottom of the fridge that //SOMEONE// keeps shoving down there so they can be forgotten until they start petitioning the UN for diplomatic recognition. Personally, I like all the leftovers, etc, on the TOP SHELF so you can see them when you're looking for a snack.

And yes, this is just about every container I own. ?

@Talyaa @Mrfunkedude The worst Mexican food I've ever had was in Augsburg, Germany in the late 80s when there were zero Mexican restaurants there. I knew something was up when we walked in and we knew the owner - a Czech woman who used to work in a Czech restaurant. The food /looked/ perfect but tasted all wrong. I suspect that the chef was Hungarian, had never had Mexican food, and came up with his creations by looking at a menu with pictures and brief descriptions. ?

Both the Super Bowl and the PGA are in town #today, so my plans are to stay home.

@dwarf Here in Phoenix our winters are usually mild (like I need to wear socks with my sandals and shorts). This year when I went online to pay the gas bill, our usage was 4X what it was at the same time last year! Fortunately we're on the payment plan so I don't have to pay it all at once.
