Catholic bros: I remember hearing a story that goes like: the cardinals / hierarchy got a chance to read the talmud, and produced a book of arguments and methods for converting the Jews to the church. Time period is middle ages, I think.

Was this a thing? Does someone know the title of the book/act/statement?

@djsumdog @rasterman The early church did not have several variants. There were several variant groups of claiming Christ. The early church, the body of Christ, has always had the same testimony.

The canon was established around 350 precisely because of variant texts. The ecumenical councils occurred to deal with these same variants.

The most generous think to be said of the "variants" is that they walked a path that was not subsequently paved and agreed upon to be the way,.

@Invictus how? It's range is going to start by sucking. Then you put shit in it, and lose even more range. It has a bitty bed, and you lose whatever benefit the front would provide in crash protection -- less of it than even the current Mini. It's also $14,000 more than an F150.
