I was having an issue with the Windows file explorer loading extremely slowly in one particular folder, and I figured out why! It had something to do with the tags on the audio files. It wasn't like that to begin with, it only happened when I tried to batch edit them with the "Properties" menu. I just used Mp3tag instead, cleared all of the tags and then re-added them. Folder works perfectly fine now.
Don't use the Properties menu to edit your music tags, I guess.
@LukeAlmighty brad taste in music is like spicy anthony fantano. i've seen a few of his videos but he definitely seems a little bit like one of those "music critic content creator" types.
@LukeAlmighty@Mr_NutterButter metroid other m was in 2010 then you had a 7 year gap until metroid 2 remake. then another 4 until dread, 2 until mp1 remaster, hopefully mp4 this year. so that's a decent time between mainline games but overall not too shabby.
star fox zero came out in 2016. bone dry ever since. break's metroid's absent spell. 9 years. on top of that, star fox zero was both a rehash of 64 and a
none are as bad as f-zero though. f-zero's last game was in 2004. and no, f-zero 99 does not count.
😭 this is why creepy little girls in horror never scare me because they have always had something bad happen to them and it always makes me feel sad 😭 i wanna give her a big hug.
@LukeAlmighty I thought it was pretty common knowledge that these sorts of things don't really get cured. The idea is to give you the tools to deal with them. Whether or not therapists actually do that in a healthy way or not is up for debate. I think that therapy is often something that pushes people into something more like complacency than actually working towards bettering themselves. Someone like a life coach does a much better job with that but they're also a lot more dedicated.
These days, I would expect the number of "cures" to be higher though, because a lot of people go to the therapist when they're in a rough patch and need someone to talk to. Therapy is a lot more common. In 2006, it's more likely that you were only in therapy because you really did have a permanent mental illness. Just my guess.
@Cyrillic@Ronnie21093 I didn't change anything about updates on my latest install and I've never had an automatic one. I'll get a little toast popup saying it's time to update like once every couple days but that's it.
You can also use winutils and change updates that way extremely easily. For instance, just getting security updates or disabling updates entirely (not the greatest idea but sure).
@Shinobufag@LukeAlmighty you guys are crazy, even with how invested I was in FF16 it still took me 3 months to beat it I think I just have a lot of things I really enjoy doing and so gaming only gets like 20 hrs a week max.
@Ronnie21093 stuff like this has happened before and it will surely happen again. I don't know how people get these updates so fast, I'm usually like a year behind
