I had a dream last night of an ex. I hate it when that happens.

Idk where to really draw the line at who is a philosopher or not, but the first name that popped in to my head was actually a YouTube channel called "daryl talks games." he talks a lot about game design stuff but he always loops it back into a narrative on how humans tick and it's pretty cool.

Certainly did not feel my age at all when dancing at the reception. All my friends my age were dying lol, meanwhile I'm over here breaking out the moves. One of them told me to stop showing off xD I hope he was able to walk out of the hotel today.

At the wedding reception, they played some song called "the pink pony club" and apparently it's a strip club. I asked "a strip club for what??" and my friend looked at me in abject horror then said "pinkie pie..."
I miss hanging out with these retards all the time...

My mom hasn't had any seizures for the past couple of weeks. It seems like the symptoms she was having due to them were only temporary. Got to see her on Tuesday and she was back to her usual self. We went and saw my grandparents in hospice and they're doing much better than I thought they would be too. Very thankful for all of that.

@MK2boogaloo i had a 1060 6gb that i was playing doom 2016 on at high settings, 4k60fps. it was fucking awesome. they optimized the hell out of that engine, pun intended. so to see it just get bogged down by forced ray tracing is really shitty.

DOOM: The Dark Ages apparently REQUIRES raytracing to be turned on in some form at all times which results in a massive loss in performance, notably on lower end cards.
The game barely looks better than 2016.
I fucking hate the raytracing antichrist.

@LukeAlmighty i've never seen the steam deck, or even the switch as being truly "portable" devices. it's not portable unless it can fit in my pocket imo.

Damn I just had to tell a guy I couldn't accept his $50 because it was fake :feelsbadman: he said he did some side work and that's what they gave to him. Fucked up. At least he was understanding, I even offered to buy his stuff but he declined.
