    @hypolite threat specific thinking, there may be circumstances were having your password stored in a cloud is better than locally (synced between devices). I can't come up with one, but I am sure there is one. @maltimore

    @maltimore why would anyone suggest to not write down passwords on paper? That is a valid and safe way to keep track of them. There is even an airgap as a firewall in the system.

    Do not even store your passwords online with a server side encryption or even without, so do not store them in your browser unless you really know what you're doing, to not use an online password manager!

    @hypolite to have less possibilities for people to talk behind your back assuming the worst of people.

    But mainly it would be a nice feature to have this information to see who shares your posts to where.

    @hypolite yes, I am aware of that, but when we quote a post Friendica would be able to reference that as a reply to that post, right?

    And for the future it would be possible to have some notification below a post like for the reshare, right?

    I like this idea from the post below.

    Can we add quotes of posts as replies in addition? Would that work? What are the pros and cons?

    For the devs, what would be technical problems to do this besides that other systems do not support this?

    @grischa your server is actually running on the current dev, someone made a mistake and released a new Friendica package for Yunohost based on some development status. There is now a discussion what to do about it, I think the version you're on is a bit buggy, but you'll probably have to wait till they release the stable version in December or so. Make sure if a new package in Yunohost shows up that it is not a stable version older than 12.2022 (the soon to be released one)!

    @tio not at all suggested! Might work for the special point of Dev branch, but not sure.

    Also the Dev branch now is much better than the stable branch, @hypolite said the current stable is kind of buggy (I rephrased it, don't remember the exact words).

    So better pick the current Dev state I think.
