Anyone have any free #UX books they like, or books that I can buy one copy and legally share with a group of people? I want to have a book club with my team at work but I don’t want to make everyone buy something

Do any of you have a favorite list app for both android/iOS (or web) that can share e.g. a shopping list with someone else?

Doesn’t need any bells and whistles like due dates or integration with recipes or whatever, I just want something we can both add to and check off.

I finished the squares and started sewing them together! I went with the suggestion to sew along the diagonals, seems to be working pretty well. I was originally planning 9x9 in 3 colors, but I decided 8x8 with 2 was fine. It’s coming out a bit more 70s than originally intended, but retro is fun 😆

@hypolite same, I just got an iPhone 13 mini based on size almost exclusively. It’s smaller than any of the new models but the same size as my old iPhone 6, which was too large already

Phones keep getting bigger but my hands are still small

Apparently it’s so cold that they can’t have water for the toilet on this flight because it’ll just freeze in the lines, so they put bottles of water in the bathroom to flush with

Kind of peaceful watching the snow blow across the tarmac

Stay tuned for more airport musings, I was expecting a much longer security line so we are way early for this flight

Also, why is it called a “tarmac” when they’re all made of concrete

Who are the people who buy suitcases at the airport, how does that work

@skye most places I’ve worked had one pool of days that could be used for sick time or vacation (usually 15 days total), so you can use more but the more you (or your kids, etc.) get sick the less time you have for fun-burnout-preventing time off

Got a good “please stop replying all” email thread going this morning, I was just thinking the other day that it’s been a while ?
