A blanket in progress made of crochet squares from the previous post. The flower colors alternate orange and red-orange in a checkerboard pattern. The blanket is kind of triangular as I’m adding to it by sewing on a diagonal line of squares. There are 5 squares on each side and it takes up most of a couch cushion.

I finished the squares and started sewing them together! I went with the suggestion to sew along the diagonals, seems to be working pretty well. I was originally planning 9x9 in 3 colors, but I decided 8x8 with 2 was fine. It’s coming out a bit more 70s than originally intended, but retro is fun 😆
