My standing presumption is that, when Trump voters look at Trump, they see all the same things we see, but they think those are all GOOD things.

My doctor told me to stop drinking back at the start of October, and that has been going okay—notwithstanding that I HATE the holidays—but I have learned that I only ever had one tool for dealing with anxiety, and I have now given that up. My main goal for 2024 is to build a toolbox of anxiety-fighting tools that don’t harm my health.
