I’ve been playing with many Linux distros, starting with Slackware in 1995, and have never settled. On every new machine I’d try something new.

This week I put Debian on an old MacBook Pro and an extremely old Mac Mini. It feels *right*.

This is such a relief.

I did exactly the same yesterday.
Not sure what I’m going to do with it, but I’d rather do it with a supported OS.

My little iPhone app for tracking UK train services (“Nearly Departed”) got a shout-out on a podcast for blind and visually-impaired folk.
They said it was great, and I love that it’s helping some people.

Today I learned that Blåhaj are difficult to gift-wrap.

I can type QWERTY on a virtual keyboard, but have totally forgotten it on physical keyboard.
