     @vladcampos try the 24.something LTS (Long Time Support). This way you have a stable release that lasts for 5 years.

     @otaviocc I want to try this on a very old Mac mini. I believe it's a 2012 model. What do you recommend?

     I did exactly the same yesterday.
     Not sure what I’m going to do with it, but I’d rather do it with a supported OS.

     @vladcampos I believe the easiest one to install and play with is Ubuntu. The setup is extremely simple and they probably have all the drivers ready for this model already.
