@vladcampos it depends on how the implementation on Micro.blog side is. If it’s the same used for photos, than it’s easy. If it’s something different, than it needs more code. Their documentation should mention something about it.

👨💻 I submitted my Obsidian Pika Plugin to review (by Obsidian folks), but didn’t hear from them yet.

A few days ago, I installed Ubuntu on an old MacBook Pro (2015). The fan was going crazy all the time. Today, I installed the latest #Fedora, and it's running beautifully.

@humdrum @hiro for sure. Some of the skills I wrote have scripts running underneath. If something is deterministic, there's a script for that. I have skills where the .md file just says "Run ./script/foobar.sh" because it's all handled by a script directly. No need for the LLM to figure things out.

@hiro my Obsidian vault at work is massive. I take daily notes of everything I do, tickets I’m working on, and write documentation before publishing it to Confluence, scorecards for engineers I interview, etc.

I wrote some Claude Code skills to help me with some of the heavy work.

Every day I create a new daily note and run a skill to get my calendar and add it to the daily note.

During the day I take my notes. No mystery here. I try to write as much as I can.

Then at the end of the day I run another skill that checks if there’s anything it should copy to my brag sheet (used to help with my self-assessment during the feedback review cycle).

I also have skills to get the technical documentation I published, Epics I worked on, etc., for the entire quarter.

And I have a skill that reviews my self-assessment to check if I covered all the company principles with evidence.

That's the beauty of adopting open standards. Posting to @goodenough's Pika from Obsidian, with image upload!

I'm forking my own Micro.blog plugin and adapting it to work with Pika. I hope I can get it 100% ported and tested by the end of the week.

I'll port Micro.publish to work with Pika as well. Soon it will be possible to publish and edit Pika posts using Obsidian.

@vladcampos I believe the easiest one to install and play with is Ubuntu. The setup is extremely simple and they probably have all the drivers ready for this model already.

@vladcampos try the 24.something LTS (Long Time Support). This way you have a stable release that lasts for 5 years.

@alexandra I have a pin guy. :-) There’s this guy who sells pins in flea markets around the city. I usually see him at Mauerpark on Sundays, but I bought these from him at a different market on Saturday this time.
