Sooo ... the F-Droid version of Fedilab needs NTFY to handle push notifications while the Google Playstore version does not?

If so, what's the reason for this?

Dont want to be rude or anything but notifications work perfectly fine with Tusky, out of the box with no need for any third party notification service.

Please dont block me for mentioning other Mastodon apps 🥺

As far as I know, Tusky does not need any additional app/background service to handle notifications. On the other hand, its not possible to modify the interval at which notifications are fetched.

How can I enable the classic set of emojis? By default I can only use blobmojis. Changing the emoji style in the preferences does noch change anything on my device

So I had to use Fedilab ( sorry I guess ... ) in order to use regular emojis. Turns out that the abovementioned setting in Tusky apparently changes how they are displayed.

I am still looking for a way to use them directly in Tusky
