   @ASP Use you keyboard to input regular unicode emojis. Usually they have a dedicated button or are hidden behind long-pressing enter or something.

     So I had to use Fedilab ( sorry I guess ... ) in order to use regular emojis. Turns out that the abovementioned setting in Tusky apparently changes how they are displayed.

     I am still looking for a way to use them directly in Tusky

     Question to the Tusky @Tusky #tusky #TuskyTest #tuskynightly community:

     How can I enable the classic set of emojis? By default I can only use blobmojis. Changing the emoji style in the preferences does noch change anything on my device
