      Hi, I recently released v1.6.0 of my app, bible feed, to f-droid. For some reason it has been tagged as NSFW and I notice this new metadata has been added to the top: AntiFeatures: NSFW: en-US: Promote ■■■■ and violence contents. https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/blob/master/metadata/com.me2christ.bible_feed.yml But this is a simple bible reader app that obviously does not promote ■■■■ or violence in any way.     At least they are not exploding them like Israel does every single day in Gaza, without an explicit war.

    That seems to be mostly war propaganda, but arrest warrant for something without claims is ridiculous. If they are taking a whole city full of kids and no parents, the best they can do is taking them for care. That's common sense.

    Not a single nation invades without a previous warning to the citizens, that would entitle a war crime.

    The Middle Ages were moral foundations for Europeans way to perceive the world, in terms of values, reasoning and ethics.

    Many pro-individual anti-slavery ideas come from Catholic and Protestant scholars, AKA the god given rights.

    "Western values" are mostly a synonym of a christian values, evolved for a millennia in Europe, and few centuries in America.

    There is no other religion who embraced Individualism like christians.

    @amerika @Godsend @SirAnthony @truthbait @FourOh-LLC China is not a country I sympathize. However, it's a country who can build whatever 90% cheaper than USA due their terrible working condition, lack of humanity (people are just numbers) and no freedom of speech/thought.

    Said that, I think China provides good value for third world countries, so poor people can get technology and overall goods for a good value. Not every nation can afford an iPhone, iPad, European/American car, etc.

    Also Chinese markets don't give a F about software/manufacturing patents, leading to cheaper prices without necessarily impacting quality.

    The main issue of China is their lack of innovation and creativity. This is a consequence of controlling speech and thought, mostly.

    Intellectual property is just a legacy from the Industrial Revolution, and can only exist by force. It's idiotic to believe you cannot manufacture something by yourself because a patent prevents that. It's a technological barrier that limits innovation and free-markets overall

    Said that, it doesn't make you entitled to "own" an idea. It goes against the free market ideals, where businesses have to compete each other to provide low cost for the consumer.

    This is why you see Oracle buying TikTok, Elon Musk buying Twitter, Facebook buying Instagram. This is a major power and may affect elections, perception of certain politicians, even cause civil unrest.
