Netanyahu let Sinwar out of prison in 2011. How strange that Sinwar attacked Israel the day before Bidi's career ending corruption trial was to begin.

If you ask me, Sinwar's death should serve as a warning to all aspiring Arab elites that see an alliance with Israel as a path to power. Blackmailed parties often come to see their blackmailers as allies when rewards are involved. And when their new allies betray them, the best they can do is lob a stick before they die.

That's not an entirely accurate characterization of American populism. The politics of the Far Right arent inherently populist at all. Modern faux-populists like the Proud Boys and other supremacist groups is underwritten by the forces true populists would oppose: corporations and oligarchs. Calling the PBs populist is a lot like calling socialists communists even though socialism and communism have little true overlap.

The GOP's plan for America's lower classes is simple:

Criminalize homelessness, use fund capital to raise the temperature of the housing market to create swarms of new homeless, incarcerate those freshies and use them to create an agriculture and infrastructure facing slave caste. Those unfit for work will be sent to plague camps where communicable disease runs rampant and the case fatality rate is high.

This is Biden's legacy—his policies legitimized killing the useless with disease.

Also, Peter was behind letting Covid rip and reducing PPE in hospitals. He was so successful that if someone were to match a SARS-CoV-2 spike with a more noxious payload, they could easily wipe out 80% of our medical staff on the first path.

So I guess the real question is how many prisoners are needed to feed 74 million people, max.

I don't know who wrote his first public statement after the attack, but it was written by a pro. I imagine they work predictable stuff like this out beforehand for maximum impact, so I'm not going to pretend it was written in the heat of the moment, but it was still very good.
