#Trump has overplaid his hand. His leverage against #Ukraine is lower than he thinks.

Today, Ukraine already makes a large part of the weapons it uses itself. (Although artillery shells would be in tight supply should the US completely halt all deliveries.)

#Europe pays for the weapons, and Trump would have to leave money on the table. Ukraine would be hurt, but not down. But it can’t accept the plan either way.

Europe, though, needs to stop being the fool here.
