If you're upset with @frameworkcomputer and you sell your laptop you're making things worse, probably not just for you but for the communities you care for.

- You'll lose a lot of money
- You'll give money to some other business that may be obscure in its own ways. At the very least you're causing a lot of work for yourself.
- With the money and energy lost, you'll lose the opportunity of supporting other projects that need help now.

I'll just keep the thing and tell the story if someone asks.

Venga, me voy a tomar en serio XMPP. No tanto como para auto-alojarlo, pero sí con mi propio dominio.

Hace tiempo decía que Gnome me gustaba más que KDE porque era más sencillo y se metía menos en el medio. KDE tiene una cantidad tan grande de opciones que, al menos a mí, me abruma. Me provocaba una sensación de incomodidad difícil de explicar, pero muy presente.

Sin embargo, me acabé por cambiar a KDE, a regañadientes, porque las decisiones de los desarrolladores de Gnome iban en contra de los usuarios con pantallas de alta densidad, y hacía que la mitad de las ventanas se viesen borrosas. /1

Hi @evan I have an activity pub theoretical question. If I move my pixelfed.au account to my own fedi.gvisoc.com mastodon account by creating an alias on the first and thus enacting the move, would that process move my pixelfed followers to my mastodon account according to the protocol?
