@thomasfuchs The dark Skynet future has AI we can see. It aims to wipe us out through brute force. The cheery optimistic future has AI that has successfully hidden itself and is slowly implementing political and social changes so we don’t even realize we’re wiping ourselves out.

@liztai A bit biased :blobfoxcomputerowonotice: , but @nova the admin here on #hachyderm has some unfortunate knowledge of where social networks go wrong, and she uses that to her advantage to get ahead of problems. Also, check out the `/about` route for any instance you want to join. If they don't have rules stated, then it might be kind of spineless or indeterminate enforcement.
