People holding only superficial knowledge of a domain have a machine that doesn’t understand the domain either but excretes a plausible (to them) compound of words, void of message, intention or meaning.
They are wasting the readers’ time, at best.
In reality they drown the literate world in a sea of crap while giving the middle finger to their reader and to anyone working in and writing about the domain at the same time.

@GreenSkyOverMe Ja, Anti-Personen-#Minen. Die Idee, dass die Angegriffenen in einem Krieg “zivilisiert töten” könnten, während es die angreifende Supermacht nicht tut, müssen wir vmtl als wohlfeile, beruhigende Illusion abtun.
Es wird sich wohl immerhin um Minensysteme handeln, die per Artillerie gegen einen Vormarsch ausgebracht werden und sich nach einigen Tagen bis Wochen deaktivieren, was russische Minen und Sprengfallen wohl nicht tun.

@randahl I don’t think that it’s even necessary for the US to pull out of NATO. Trump1 mentioned that the US may not react if Russia invades a NATO member. That’s enough to damage NATO’s central promise. Voting for Trump2 is the end of it.
Unfortunately this means that Europe has to be able to defend itself without NATO. That means giving even more money/power to the military industrial complex and to open the door for future military conflicts with the US.

Resignation bringt nichts, aber so richtig heiss glüht in mir die Hoffnung nicht, dass nun alle progressiven und demokratischen Kräfte zusammenfinden werden, um das Licht in der Welt vor dem Dunkel zu bewahren.
Was aber ist zu tun? Was können wir - realistisch - tun?

Nachdem es die Ukraine kaputt gebombt, -gemordet und sich einverleibt hat, wird Russland sicher ein verlässlicher Partner für ein demilitarisiertes Europa werden.
Genauso verlässlich, wie es das vorher war, als es nicht die Absicht hatte, Urkraine anzugreifen.
Und die Abschreckung durch die Nato wird sicher auch noch funktionieren, nachdem bereits Trump1 gesagt hat, dass er vielleicht einen Finger rühren würde oder auch nicht.

No, I‘m not staring into the void, I‘m planning how to move some of the outdoor #hydroponic plants into the living room for the #winter in a way that is not too damaging to my husband‘s patient eye.
I think that I can get away with two containers 40cmx60cm, the plants will be in 2x2 #gridfinity boxes, with white perlite on the top.

@dansup I have about 25 years of pictures in Apple Photo and the memories feature sometimes creates a movie on the birthday of friends or relatives who don’t live anymore.
The first few times were strange but now I really really appreciate this, it’s lovely!

Wer sich so richtig verarscht fühlen will, ist bei #DHL immer gut aufgehoben.:
Wieder klebt ein Abholschein für eine Sendung am Briefkasten. Der Briefkasten ist im Haus, man muss also (irgendwo) klingeln.
Wir waren beide zu Hause und hören gut.
Wir sollen nun einen Abholtermin buchen, die Sendung “kann noch heute abgeholt werden”, die Sendungsnummer ist aber noch nicht im System.
(Schöner passender Verleser: “Zufallsoption” statt “Zustelloption”.)
