GNOME is that development that ignores everyone, disappoints most, and then blames the people who try to help. I will be amazed if that changes for any long term period of time.
Meta (Facebook) has been working with both ICE, DOGE, and Homeland.
Meta has been aiding these departments to develop a comprehensive list of residents, living in and around the United States. That list has included every detail of your account, including your expressed political affiliation. Meta AI has been used to not only identify people, but also your general location. All our mobile apps, regardless of platform, have been used to further monitor people even when not using the app.
@hellomiakoda@pdx.social@LePertti@mastodon.gamedev.place Somewhere there is documentation on how to switch servers with Bitwarden. However, keep in mind that the development itself is still under Us Jurisdiction, regardless.
Note: Use a VPN when first signing up to ensure your data is saved on their Europe Servers. You can see a copy of the documentation here: https://docs.pcloud.com
Bitwarden was my original password manager of choice, but given the nature of our political changes here in the United States, I have been migrating away from digital products and services within Us Jurisdiction.
Bitwarden, I'm told, allows you to pick a Europe server and even allows you to self-host, if you're going to go that route. But I am taking preemptive causational measures and migrating, now, just in case.
If you feel Bitwarden is good enough and still works for you, and you feel safe, use it. I am only suggesting alternatives for people not already using a password manager.
That said, I would STILL suggest people update their passwords and reset their 2-step codecs.
If you obtain enough expired codecs, you can estipulate (learn the algorithm) and create valid ones. - It is why you're always told by everyone, do not share your codes (including your old ones).
Describe myself? Why? Who I believe I am is irrelevant to who you're going to believe me to be.Language: While I do natively write in English, I also use DeepL to translate my text to better communicate.
