@Linux I would encourage you to read writings from early GNOME developers about the goals of the project, because the goals have never actually shifted, it's just that the early project had completely diverged from principals.

GNOME is that development that ignores everyone, disappoints most, and then blames the people who try to help. I will be amazed if that changes for any long term period of time. -

@Linux That is my point, GNOME's principals and goals have never actually changed. Reading a GNOME post from the early 2000's will read like one that came out today

@Linux I don't agree with the direction of the project but it has always been the direction, what they fail at is not making it clear that GNOME is simply not for everyone
