@Leszek_Karlik@cstross despite the name, the "#tangerineshitgibbon" is unrelated to the gibbon. It's taxonomically closer to reptile than a primate. Though unlike most reptiles, only has a vestigial spine. As such was initially classified as an invertebrate. The name comes from the primate like behaviour of flinging its own faeces at perceived enemies. Curiously, it has been observed to be distracted during this activity and upon landing an accurate shot will applaud itself despite holding a handful of excrement. Strangely it doesn't seem to mind this. Observers have contemplated that this may account for the unnaturally bronzed staining on its otherwise pallid flesh
