    @flux_the_cat I never finished the original, but I played through most of the game. It changed a few things to the combat that probably make it a bit easier. I really like that it shows you the correct attack and defense timings but only the first few times. After you do it correctly it hides them

    The Mario RPG remake may be one of the best remakes I've played. It does a lot to preserve the original feeling while adding a few new things that still feel good

    @hazlin My first MMO was Runescape and I definitely liked the social and economy elements in that game more than the actual combat.
    It's just that the people who kept playing the game, and were the most vocal seemed to be the tryhard pvm and pvp players, so that's what the developers focused on.

    I tried out the Super Mario RPG remake and it's really good. I'm very glad there is the option to change to the original music. The only thing bad with the emulation is that the cutscenes have delayed audio. These Nintendo games sure are leaking early

To some extent space actually is "fake" but not in the way they present. Likely to try to lock you into a materialist frame of mind

    I watched the first episode of Frieren. It's rare for a story to bring me to tears so quickly. The sense of companionship and loneliness are very well done

    There is a definite disconnect between the character designs and the story. So to no surprise there is a different writer and artist. I'm interested in reading the manga the writer made which he also drew
