it finally happened. i went too far.

(i looked for one of these for a year and didn't expect to ever find one with a replaced sensor at a price i could swing but this one showed up with a replaced sensor AND LENS for way less than i expected just the body for…)

usually when photographers have "GAS" (gear acquisition syndrome) it's new and shiny

but not me, no siree!

*i'm* spending hours trying to figure out which roached out antique kodak vest pocket camera i need to buy to get the meniscus lens for soft focus

this is healthy.

also… i went mad and bought a leica m8 😂

a friend helped me buy a yakumo, a little known camera sold mostly in germany. there are a few similar models (gateway m40 for ex).

it has a unique color palette!

makes me miss the golden era when we used to get tongue for $5 at the farmer’s market in philly. there’s a lot more demand here
