Never go anywhere without a serial cable.
1st Corollary:
In the modern era, this generally means a USB to serial adaptor, and probably a DE9 to RJ45 adaptor and a standard patch cable.

@Binder Sorry your nation went nazi....
Tracing one line in my family.
My father was a Vietnam vet, he reached the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Marines, received both the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart.
His father was a hydrochemical engineer at standard oil, and was not allowed to enlist. Of his four brothers, three died in the pacific as Marines, and one survived the war in Europe.
Their father faced horrors in Europe I cannot imagine as a chaplain. He was deeply religious, a trait that apparently never passed down.
His father.... I know little about.
But his father? He served under Hancock, and Meade, and others including Grant. I have the rifle he carried at battles such as Antietem, and Fredericksburg, and Gettysburg.
My point? My family has fought for this nation for generations, and I'll fuck my own ass before I bow down to these oligarchs.
We need to fight, we need a leader.
Juniper's vSRX is a resource HOG.
4x CPU cores, and 8 GB ram:
Maximum speed I'm seeing? About 380 mbit.
Same host, #FreeBSD router with 2x CPUs, and 4 GB ram, and spending a huge chunk of that on ZFS:
4,800 mbit, and the host freely admits they are in dire need of another 10gigE link, minimum.
I loves me some JunOS, but god damn, the vSRX platform is dogshit.
My vSRX is technically licensed for six CPU cores, but that didn't make it much faster.
I fucking hate the fact that top-reply in email won the war.

No Fortinet, either.
2nd Corollary:
Huawei is out of the question as well.
@XenoPhage What did I miss this time?
Meh.....
and a tiny part of the internet ceased to collapse in on itself.
Are we supposed to care?
@dan @ricci wow, SystemD is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Level 46, Neutral Evil, Technomage. I love UNIX systems, especially FreeBSD, and build carrier grade networks for fun and profit. I'm also a musician, historian, and a pretty decent cook. Lover of fuzzy animals of all sorts, but especially the kleptomaniacal, tube shaped ones. I have a dog named Hazard Dax of whom I will share a near endless supply of pics. This account periodically generates automated posts brought to you by fortune(6), perl(1), cron(8), and the emotion of rage(42).
