@futuresprog Ah.. and they're fulfilling through kobo.com which is annoying.. I grabbed this back in 2024 and they did it through some other site. Was a PITA to have to grab the files from there so I could get them on my device..

@georgetakei “Thoughts and Prayers" is the proper response here, I think..

@georgetakei “while facing assault and gunfire" ... Is this the same sort of assault and gunfire that they pointed at as justification to send in the national guard and marines? ie, lies?

@Christian_Freiherr_von_Wolff @alice I will note, however, that men tend to be slobs.. so the mens rooms are usually in worse shape. I avoid using a public mens room at all costs for anything except peeing. If it were a women’s room, I'd be much more inclined to entertain sitting purely because things tend to be cleaner.

Disclaimer : I identify as male so I include myself in that slob statement, though I do try to ensure I'm not leaving a mess anywhere. But I'm sure as hell not going to go crazy trying to clean something up if the place is a mess already.. I do not want to go near that…

@gangrif Nagios is still great. If you want more than just up/down, though, take a look at prometheus.

@hp @thomasfuchs I've worked at several places that did that. And, dealt with the resulting fallout.

There's also the nuke and replace method that never goes horribly wrong.

Also had to deal with the git/svn directory deployment method. Because, of course, there's nothing on those hidden .git or .subversion directories that is at all sensitive.

@horse @Sempf Ah, I have it backwards.. I have the UDM, it's the UDR I want to go to. I keep spiking the CPU in the UDM with all the traffic. I have a bunch of segmented networks and, while it keeps things secure, it means everything routes through the UDM.

But the UDR is a big rack mount pizza box.. And I don't have any racks. Nor do I really want any. Though I guess I could wall mount it behind my monitors.. wouldn't be visible then..

I kinda want the Dream Wall, but it’s stupid expensive.

@horse @Sempf I have a UDR and am contemplating a UDM replacement. Is there a wall mount or something for the UDM? I’ve only ever seen rack mounts.
