+1 for Kuma. It's simple enough, and does the job well. Prometheus is great, but requires a lot of infra and maintenance. -

i self host some things that are production enough that i want to know when they're down. Mostly web.
Last time i did this it was nagios. I can do that again. but i through id check what's new and hot first.
