@mjgardner Yes! To my mind, a good manager would have recognised why they feel something is off, and figured out that maybe they expect more from the worker than they've already communicated, and the connection & discussion should have already happened beforehand.
Today's project is re-writing Catalina for 8-bit support, but I'm having issues getting logging in to work. Or actually anything at all. Honestly this is just fever dreaming isn't it. Am I real?

I know that's not terribly big to anybody but us, but I think it’s important to know when it may not feel a given. time passes and the world is sometimes shit but it's also kind and surprising with decades of this wonderfulness behind me and more to come.

@europlus@nygl@kalleboo I'm kind of surprised at how well the Quadra and PowerBook are running with 7.1 and AIR here - I suppose as it's mostly early 90s os, macs, and networking it's not trying to push things.
Normally it's connected to my NAS permanently in 7.x with 8.x appleshare jammed in, and just the tiniest bit unstable.
Not daily, but weekly falling over.
But this, this is a stability I'm unfamiliar with!
