Under 5 CFR § 2635.202(b), "an emplovee may not, directly or indirectly, accept a gift given because of the emplovee's official position." This fundraiser directly violates that federal statute as it is raising funds explicitly because of the beneficiary's actions while on duty as an ICE agent, which makes him an emplovee of the Executive Branch Disbursement of these funds to the named beneficiary would violate federal law.

Step 2: Go down to Report Fundraiser, marked with a flag near the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Select the option "Report a fundraiser only"

Step 4: Fill out the form, using the reason "Fundraiser violates laws"

Step 5: Under "Please describe your concerns" note that it is illegal for an employee to fundraise for doing their job. He was on the job.

Rebecca you've done a really good job of avoiding career-ending-contracts. It feels like a lot of otherwise good creators are getting scammed into tanking their own influence, which I think is the point. Put a creator in a position to piss off their base, and pay them well enough to ensure that they do it. Keep sharp. 🩷
