   What to do if you encounter a bear:

   1. Quack as loudly as you can. The bear may mistake you for a duck, its only natural predator, and immediately flee.

   2. Cover yourself in honey. Bears are highly allergic to honey.

   3. If cubs are present, pick them up and playfully swing them around. This will show the mama bear that you mean no harm.
