Well that weird #DeusEx remaster (that won exactly no one over with its visuals) had been delayed with no new date announced.

It was meant to release Feb 5th 2026, but now Aspyr is refunding those who did pre-order.

Aspyr:

"We've listened to what you said, and in order to better meet fan expectations and deliver the best possible experience for players, Deus Ex Remastered will no longer launch on Feb. 5, 2026."

Another #gaming casualty maybe?

Well, Anbernic sent me their VERY #Nintendo DSi-ish handheld to review a little while back. After an interesting first week (they had a desync issue where the top screen ended up running at 40 Hz while the bottom stayed at 60 Hz), they fixed the issue with an update.

I spent a LOT of time with this handheld, and honestly...I'm one of the vert few who loved it :)

I haven't watched any of the new season yet! I have to wait for it to all be released, I couldn't do it in stages.

But they did plan for a spin-off (by memory) with those other kids with Kali. In the end they acknowledged it didn't work and scrapped that idea.

Season one will forever be pure magic to me. Wish me luck in avoiding spoilers for the next month for this new season!!!

Oh man, were you disappointed by the Kali story line? I was so surprised when those two episodes hit, it was so disjointed in S2.

I adore Stranger Things!

Something I spotted today is an interesting reminder of how fickle #gaming is:

#Steam has a 'labor of love' award, which despite going to a ton of amazing games which deserve it, has never been given to a few you'd think truly deserve it above all.

No Man's Sky, 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴 for their support over a decade, and Stardew Valley which is literally the poster-child for a dev dedicated to their game? Both snubbed.

This makes me angry.
