i'm actually a bit worried about all the slop going into the linux kernel now, because that might mean i have to quit using slackware in the foreseeable future.

guess i'll end up on netbsd then. netbsd was nice whenever i used it and the people seem to be low drama like slackers.

i think with just a few backward compatible things on top it would almost be usable for my family. it's almost just client-side.

the only thing servers would need is some way to better handle connection losses. long running tcp connections suck for mobile use. please not another protocol on top of http though xD
