Yeah. They blather about their precious Horseshit Theory, but they want to quasi-divinely mete out punishment, too. Just as the Fundies want to mete it oiut against the rest of us. Wild, huh? :/

I don't feel any sympathy for the parents. They killed their own child with their Biblical bullshit. But I also don't think that their deaths would fix anything. We can't change their minds, so why aren't we thinking about those we could still reach?

I pointed out elsewhere in the thread why I feel it's pointless, given who it's aimed at. Sorry. It took me awhile to get to but it's there.

That poor kid is already dead. No one can bring you back after you're dead. :(

And, like I said, at the very least it's a bad look relsihing the wretched state of prisons and how even people not barbarically sentenced to death could easily die there.

I wish I liked horror more. I think I'm one of 4 or 5 on the entire planet who indulges every 15 years or so but the rest of the time? Nah.

The Dems did go into countless states and mire us in legal trouble to stay on ballots after we'd already collected mind-blowing numbers of signatures to comply with unjust laws which changed from state to state. That was money we had to throw away that could not be used to actually campaign.

I'm sure they paid splendidly for all those Stein hit-pieces in "Left" rags, too.

Okay, sure. But I never interpreted that line to be about either party's daily (or entire) working life. Or what their personal philosophy of art or work might be. I just interpreted it as, "Here's how it appears to I, the viewer in this moment of fabulous art at this particular time."

I think my family's doing fine and of course, so am I compared to many. I hope I can stay stable because THE LAST THING I would want would be having to appeal to them for help in a crunch.

I hope my brother is looking out well for my 80+ Mom because the last time we talked politics they both shouted at me nonstop about my electoral choices until I gave up talking. Pppphhhtttt! Liberals.

I am honestly in no hurry to see either of them ever again. :/
