When an open source contribution appeared from someone new, I used to feel excitement. Now I feel dread that it will be hard-to-review AI slop they want me to morge continvoucly.

We used to say “yolo merge” when merging with inadequate review, but perhaps “morge” is an even better term.

@bloognoo @ryanc I am skeptical that interference from lighting could cause this problem, but I think it is a great suggestion to test with power shut off at the breaker. Shut off everything you can.

@whitequark @vestige HackRF Pro (which just started shipping) uses Amaranth.

@whitequark As someone who already has Glasgow, Cynthion, and various dev boards, I would prefer a tutorial for a fun project that I can do on one of those boards, but I admit that a ready-to-use tutorial platform could lower the perceived barrier to entry. I attended a fun FPGA workshop once where we plugged in a tiny speaker and used Verilog to synthesize weird noises. Just handing out the speaker and having everyone on the same hardware platform enabled magic.

Developing HackRF Pro (in production now!) has been a lot of work, but I've been able to have some fun along the way.
