@collectifission@sachee I would love to see them try. Go ahead and break the government and the economy, it will hurt them far more than it will ever hurt me.
@j@sun I don't think it's a productive use of time to try to frame this as anything other than frustrated scared people sharing thoughts and feelings about how to deal with a very concerning societal shift that threatens their feelings of safety and stability in life
@cryptadamist@screaminggoat you have an awfully big ego and you should keep it in check. You're only backing out of this conversation because you thought I knew nothing about Ethereum tokens when in fact I've worked in the ecosystem for like 4 years
@cryptadamist@screaminggoat I trust the Justice Department will continue doing the good work they're doing dealing with this problem. Tether is directly cooperating with the Justice Department.
You may not be aware but the USDT contract allows Tether to freeze and drain wallets, and they do. USDT is not some magical permissionless money laundering machine that gives criminals protection.
@cryptadamist@screaminggoat except money laundering in USD is measured in the TRILLIONS per year, so this gets more news coverage than it really deserves
@polarisera At least do 5 minutes of research. The entire point of this study was to see if the hormones increase susceptibility to HIV because of high rates of HIV in the transgender women community
"Actually the filibuster is really important and we need to protect it, especially not requiring anyone to do the real filibustering for hours on end. Just the promise they will do it to kill a bill should be good enough, right guys? Right?"
