@feld this entire elon and jeff and all the other buying everything really feels like in those economy simulations like openttd where you have so much money that you can literary buy and do shit whatever you want and can't use. Even if its not economic. Sounds like this system doesn't work well

Want to get away from cloud and all their talk about hyperscale? I doubt that more than 1 - 2% of companies need that massive scaleablity. Imho our field need more #fullstack one man army style of frameworks. Doing a #webservice shouldn't be hard like it is today with all its #microservices and #kubernetes and aws lambdas. #Developers need to build trust on them and should be professional in saying i know what my stuff is doing. Just imagine a craftsman who always tells that he has no clue and how wierd his craft is. No one would put trust on them. And thats whats currently happening with all those #layoffs and #ai stuff.

i just wonder what happened to the space game from notch the creator of minecraft? It was a really great idea imho would be a shame if it just was dropped. It even was cooler than starcitizen imho #minecraft #starcitizen #games #indygames

@chiraag @morganmay @mcc why can't people just leave all those politics and stuff aside. Don't we have bigger problems like that. Water gets short. We are heading to a new war and all those other really bad stuff thats happening. And here we are complaining about everyone and everything.

Sometimes i feel like being part of a medieval society that needs its scapegoats that they can shitstorm and talk about. Gossip is the thing today.
