    You'd think that the advances of UEFI would have finally saved us from having to mindlessly mash a key during boot to get it into BIOS/Boot select, but nope. Still gotta mash.

      @shinmera what gets me is that it's not standardized but at least i can hit esc on my laptop to get the boot menu

      @shinmera @m3tti would be neat if i weren't scared of efistub booting on most machines because too many writes to the efi vars can lock up badly made efi firmware/chips for good...

      so to keep using secondary bootloaders anyway

      @shinmera i never understood the switch yeah legacy and stuff but it was said way easier and faster can't see it. Yeah whats cool is the firmware update but i guess that could have also be done with bios if you would have tried

      That's what POST delay is for and the whole reason why I even sent the link with a sarcastic tone is because a lot of manufactures don't even have that feature and/or disabling fast boot does nothing.

      @phnt Listen motherfucker. On my computer it shows the screen saying I gotta hit a button. I press the button once on that screen. Half the time it does not do shit. I gotta mash. POST delay or not, does not matter.
