I find that while the works of Descartes , Aristotle & other great thinkers are to me not merely closed books , but shredded, burnt & released to the 4 corners of the earth books, Messers Pratchett & Adams speak to me in a language I understand, namely Middle (class) English.

Ok who ordered a Wednesday ? I distinctly remember ordering a Friday for today !
We’ve had any number of Wednesdays recently & far too few Fridays !

Busy day today gotta drop yon OH off at work so I can have the car for this afternoons MH Practitioner appt & there’s a man from Occupational Health coming to see how he can ‘help’ me this morning - really I’m not sure why but hey.

The upshot is that your regular Squirrel service will be sporadic & not up to the high standards we usually fail to achieve.
