@jeffcliff @BowsacNoodle I will concede that it is possible that COVID-19 itself may be causing non-flu like side effects but only because I am certain it is not a naturally occuring phenomenon and was cooked up in a gain of function laboratory as a bioweapon. -

No. Not during the "pandemic". Six months ago. My 43 year old neighbor across the street falling down dead in his driveway taking his trashcan out to the curb. Otherwise perfectly healthy with no other pre-existing conditions, as one example.

So we agree that big pharma has a vested interest in people being sick. Hmm. Seems like a great reason not to trust them.

@jeffcliff @BowsacNoodle Do you know anyone who has "died suddenly" after having taken the vax? Someone with no other major pre-existing conditions? I personally know 4 and indirectly another 6. I'm far from being alone in this unfortunate phenomenon. If you're not in any way suspicious of big pharma, and believe the media companies, who big pharma happens to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to each year in ad revenues ("This segment is sponsored by Pfizer."), and you believe the revolving door of executives between big pharma, the FDA and the CDC is inconsequential to the safety testing of drugs, then I say good luck to you.
Look 5 plus years ago I shared your perspective. In my mind there were too many checks and balances in place for there to be any malfeasance, or so I believed. Since then I have been exposed to too much controverting evidence that big pharma isn't corrupt and evil. All I can tell you is that you're very invested in an industry that profits greatly from your continued sickness. Their future depends on a pipeline of future sickness and with tens of billions in annual profit at stake it is reasonable to assume they will be thorough it their efforts to protect that pipeline. If nothing else that should make everyone reflexively suspicious of big pharma. If it doesn't you then good luck. -

Well, there's no latitude of interpretation there, now is there?
Point being that the goal of the study is unattainable. You could take the very same data set they used to"prove" the vax saved lives and produce a study "proving" the vax killed a high percentage of the people who took it. And, although the Lancet retracted a study they published showing just that, it was published for a brief time. -

I haven't told you whether or not I've been vaxed, but let's say I had been. I've had COVID-19 (loss of taste and smell). Was I saved by the vax? Is that why I'm alive today and, if so, how would you know? -

I was going to stay out of this. Congrats. You got be back in. I don't suppose you've done a click on the BMJ Group's About Us page. Or, maybe you have and you're aligned with the sky is falling climate emergency crowd. Either way, this organization has a far Left leaning agenda and I wouldn't trust any research sanctioned, funded, promoted or produced by them. Remember 99% of scientists agree with the opinion of those funding them.
It is hard to find people these days who aren't aware of the COVID-19 "vaccination" myocarditis pericarditis connection. Even the completely compromised CDC has had to publish the connection. Considering the CDC's initial position on the vaxes was that they're completely safe and almost 100% effective at preventing transmission or contraction of COVID-19, this is a surprising admission to me.

We've all been waiting for decades for a vaccine to cure the common cold. The flu vaccine 20% to 30% effective after decades of use. Enter COVID-19. Within 9 months 4 different companies have a vax based on a new, untested mRNA tech. LOFL. Nothing to be suspicious of there. They initially tell us, "Almost 100% effective at preventing contraction and transmission" but within 6 months they've gradually reduced that to 40% effective. Ah, but we have a booster we can sell you to solve that problem. LOL. Again, nothing to be suspicious of here. And the Pfizer clinical data? You don't need to see that for...70 years. Fortunately, a judge prevented Pfizer from hiding the data. And, what did we find in their clinical results? 9 full pages of contraindications in what we were told was a perfectly safe, "experimental vaccine" that, by the way, the manufacturer's could not be held liable for people who suffered contraindications from their product. The best part? They don't have to prove efficacy and they couldn't if they even wanted to. "All of these people would have dies if they hadn't taken our experimental drug." "Well, how do you know that?" "We just know." Got it.
Candidly, I have to hand it to big pharma on this one. They pulled of the most successful financial scam in corporate history. They're scum, but you have to admire their ability to execute on a grandiose plan. -

@BowsacNoodle There is a study the Chinese conducted circa 2021/2022 (it's out there somewhere - too lazy right now to look) that studied 10,000 smokers to better understand why they seemed largely unaffected by COVID-19. Allegedly, it turns out nicotinamide receptors in the brain are damaged by the COVID bio-weapon. These numerous receptors control different functions in the body including diaphragm contraction, smell and taste. Hmm. However, these receptors prefer nicotine to the virus and will (gross oversimplification here) choose nicotine over the COVID bio-weapon.
I read something to this effect back in early-2023 and started microdosing on lucy.co nicotine lozenges - 3x a week at 4mg. I had previously had COVID but never again after commencing the microdosing. As of last month lucy.co discontinued these lozenges which were the only ones I can find on the market that use actual nicotine instead of the methylated synthetic version. bummed. Who knows for sure about any of this. It's hard to believe anything these days. -
