I have to say, no one does public breakdown/freakouts like fedi admins/mods*. Like when they go — THEY GO.

I’ve been on the internet a long time and have associated with my share of whackos but, I tell you, there should probably be some sort of psych study on this phenomenon.

@BeAware I think funko pop did something like that. It was in their app and everything - a 3d model you could view, etc.

It seemed weird to build a massive collection of nft funko pops but I’m not their market so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@BeAware I was excited about NFTs for all of 30 seconds before they were destroyed by grifters and, specifically, art market grifters.

@BeAware sadly the blockchain is like AI. There are very useful applications for it but they all get overshadowed and destroyed by grifters.

Anything that doesn’t exist on this blockchain is fake.

Ok, hear me out:

Every digital photo (from every camera, scanner, etc.) uploads their images to the blockchain while every edit/change is also uploaded to the blockchain (in a blockchain version of git). This will create an indisputable chain of custody and authenticity that proves an image’s “realness” and trackability thus disrupting the coming onslaught of AI deepfakes.

We will use the blockchain to defeat the blockchain (and AI).

So when I try to take my message out to the streets wearing a sandwich board and ringing a bell I’m the “crazy guy” but when RFK jr does *anything* he gets well respected press coverage.

Label says that sterility is guaranteed if it’s not opened and it’s not opened so…do I put this on my next open wound or?
