I'm having issues where the audio of the first video in the feed continues to play after I scroll to the next one. Then it's overlapping the audio 🤣. I appreciate all the work you've put into this, hopefully all bugs can be squashed quickly!

It's a very simple db and web interface which has basic features but not any complicated ones nor 'AI' features. It also has a CLI and a third-party mobile app:

I have used this just because I failed to get Omnivore or Wallabag to work when I began self-hosting earlier this year. I do want to try Wallabag again though.

A few months ago #Stuff rewrote their news website to require javascript to view the stories. I have just realised today this prevents #Shiori bookmark manager from extracting the text when creating a local archive.

I have a habit of saving and archiving most interesting articles I read for future reference, and this is a pain as I like reading in the minimalist text viewer provided by most read-it-later apps. Goddamn you Stuff.

One great thing with #Pixelfed is there is no mysterious algorithm to appease. By appealing to people, your pictures get noticed, boosted and that is essentially Pixelfed's algorithm.

Appeal to people, not an algorithm.

I hope #Loops feels like this too, although I won't be posting any.

@dansup @pixelfed How are these generated? Is it just what hashtags are generally used together?

@vintprox @strypey @Wuzzy I like the idea of calling it free software, but because of the confusion with free as in price, I use libre software as the term instead. I think @lightweight does as well.
F(L)OSS is also good, I use it about the same amount as libre software.

@Kiloku @dansup I think it's a d, but the g in the hashtag is a typo. See the top of the post is PUBd, but the hashtag is # PUBg so I reckon typo.
