Seems mostly tech oriented sorts here, or maybe it's my lack of knowledge of how to even find people.

My issue with Mastodon is it gains so little traction versus other platforms.

It's nice, but is sort of a modern LJ. Quiet, but my capacity to connect with most furs I know is near zero.

The way it is set up is a strength and weakness from what I can tell.

My parents got us an *excellent* gift - a 2000-watt battery power pack with two big solar panels for recharging! 😲

@silver_huskey I got a cold too. Best to rest up as much you can. I got a lot of sickness last year when the university put masks as optional, which I get.

People on about the weekend... I've technically been on weekend since October 4th and will be until at least the 15th.

Apparently I cannot helicopter in for FWA 2025 due to various safety protocols.

It took over 4 years, but despite getting ALL the vaccines, COVID finally landed.

Doc' has me going on a slew of meds, but says my lungs sound pretty good. Just gonna fend it off.

If I dip out, of course, I'll be in hell waiting to torment republicans for eternity.

@silver_huskey ahhhhh. Wow, that gets confusing. Florida has taxes for rentals, too, though. Property tax is automatically taken, I guess. Our mortgage lender handles that.
