   My issue with Mastodon is it gains so little traction versus other platforms.

   It's nice, but is sort of a modern LJ. Quiet, but my capacity to connect with most furs I know is near zero.

   The way it is set up is a strength and weakness from what I can tell.

     @NexJql I quite like Mastodon, though most people are elsewhere. I have found that it's been good for making connections with new furs.

     @silver_huskey it may be the audience.

     Seems mostly tech oriented sorts here, or maybe it's my lack of knowledge of how to even find people.

     @NexJql It's mostly the former from my POV. You're the only active fur I know from elsewhere.
