   The holiday stress is quickly approaching, as I got into an argument with my mother. I get the feeling she's very resentful of me wanting to be home by a certain time on Thanksgiving, so I can livestream.

   But it's not like I'm not helping out. I'm cooking 1/3 of the dinner including the turkey.

     I'm also cooking another dish, picking up food for her to cook, and other requests. This includes me also having to work Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning thanks to my job. I also stay behind for a bit after dinner to help clean after dinner. I dislike being guilted into doing even more.

     @silver_huskey I actually am starting to think I do not enjoy Thanksgiving or Christmas because of the family expectations.

     It was slow at work tonight, so it seemed a great time to take a mental health day. I was given the night off after arriving at work, so I went shopping for some of non-food items for Thanksgiving.

     Now I'm just going to try to relax for the rest of the night.
